Observations on a Random Graduate Class

My teacher is a very good storyteller-

I think that's important.

Teachers are storytellers.

Teachers have lots of tricks.

Teachers are kind of like magicians, without the hat and the bunny.

Teachers do not always have control of the classroom dynamic.

Unpleasant things can surface without warning.

Classrooms aren't always safe.

How can I make students feel safe and comfortable in my classroom?

Teachers can be boring.

I don't want to be boring.

If I ever get boring please slap me upside the head.
